University Institutional Management Seminars for TSU Administration

In September 2005 by invitation of the Center for Social Sciences, Dr. William Weary, President of Fieldsone Consulting Inc. visited the CSS and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, TSU to hold the series of seminars on Institutional Management and the University Administration and Leadership issues. Representatives of the Faculty of Social and Political Studies and TSU administration, as well as the members of administration from different Higher Educational Institutions attended the seminars. Seminar program comprised following issues: Principles of university administration, governance, and leadership; Structural analysis: Job descriptions, Best practice and reality, The strategic plan, “Autonomy”, Mission – and its meaning, Board membership, Current and projected 05-06 administration; Vision, Environmental scan, Performance, Tbilisi State University’s “agenda and recommendations.
