Position:Director of CSS, Full Professor at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tbilisi State University.
Bio: Professor Chitashvili is a founder of CSS and directs it up to date. In 2004-2008 Prof. Chitashvili oversaw the development and implementation of CSS main project “Developing Post-graduate programs in Social Sciences at Tbilisi State University”. She supervised administration of new interdisciplinary MA level programs in Social Sciences “Society and Politics”, “Society and Modernization”, “Politics of Social Changes”, “Transformation in the South Caucasus” and “Gender” that were developed and introduced by CSS and belong to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tbilisi State University. From 2005 she is a full professor at Psychology Department, Faculty of Social and Political Studies, Tbilisi State University. In 2003-2005 she was a Chair of General Psychology Department, Faculty of Psychology, TSU. In 2000-2003 Prof. Chitashvili was a director of Social Sciences Support Program at Open Society - Georgia Foundation (OSGF). In 1995 she was a Guest Researcher at Lund University, Institute of Theology, Department of Psychology of Religion. In Spring – Autamn of 2005 Prof. Chitashvili hold a position of Head of Academic programs development Department at TSU. In 2007 Prof. Chitashvili was a Fullbright scholar at Stanford University.
George Khelashvili, DPhil candidate in International Relations, University of Oxford;

Bio: George Khelashvili cooperates with CSS since 2003. He was the Director of Academic Programs at CSS in 2003-2006. George coordinated academic development of new regional English-language interdisciplinary Master’s program in Social Sciences: Transformation in the South Caucasus. He also was an assistant-Professor (2001-2006) and head of IR Department (2006) at TbilisiStateUniversity. He worked as policy analyst at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; was a visiting fellow of the MontereyCenter for Non-Proliferation Studies, the Kennan Institute at the WilsonCenter and GeorgeWashingtonUniversity in Washington, DC. He has also written extensively for Georgian newspapers and worked as journalist for TV company Rustavi 2, as well as for IREX. George's academic interests include International Relations theory, Caucasus regional studies, American foreign policy, and security issues in the post-Soviet space. He contributed to the ongoing reform of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at TbilisiStateUniversity. George Khelashvili is a Returning Fellow of international Academic Fellowship Program, OSI since July 2010. He has been working as a head of Research Development Unit at the Center for Social Sciences and the local head of international MSocSc program in Transformation in the South Caucasus since October 2010.
Tamar Tskhadadze, PhD in Philosophy, I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University
Position: Head of Interndisciplinary, International MSocSc program in Gender Studies, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tbilisi State University;
Bio: Tamar Tskhadaze cooperates with CSS since 2007. In 1999-2001 she taught philosophical disciplines at various universities in Georgia. From 2001 to 2008 worked as a teacher and then as an assistant professor at Tbilisi State University. In 2004 and 2005 was a visiting scholar at Stanford University, Department of Philosophy. Has been working and publishing on problems of philosophy of science, history of analytic philosophy, feminist philosophy. Since November 2009 Tamar Tskhadadze has been working as a head of interdisciplinary international MSocSc program in Gender Studies and associate professor at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, TSU.
